Lena is a graphic designer and visual artist from Indonesia, currently based in Singapore. Her practice moves fluidly between graphic design and image-making, guided by curiosity and love that is rooted in observing the essence of her surroundings, culture, and self-expression. 

In graphic design, Lena is drawn to the possibilities of communication and storytelling with how form and perception come together to inform and connect. Her work often explores how visual language can shape understanding and offer new ways of seeing.

Her image-making practice is a slower, more reflective inquiry. She is interested in the nuances of time and recollection, working through various photographic mediums where images emerge from how materials behave and respond. Lena approaches the act of making as a way to listen through process and hold space for what gradually reveals itself.

Through her practices, Lena continues to discover that meaning can be found everywhere. Often emerging through conversations, reflection, and at times through spontaneous inspiration.
