Lasalle DCE Reader is a collection of essays on design and photography written by Alice Twemlow, Herbert Bayer, James Estrin, Ritupirya Basu, and Danah Abdulia.

The layout design takes consideration of the five writers of the essays. Each essay is given its own layout system, while remaining within a fixed grid structure. This approach explores variation within constraint, creating individual identities for each text while maintaining consistency across the publication.
